Information, not professional advice
The guides on this site are general information. They can’t account for your refrigerator’s model, condition or installation, and pages from the site’s first edition (2014 to 2017) may be out of date. Check your owner’s manual and your model’s part numbers before buying a part or starting a repair.
Repairs are at your own risk
Refrigerators run on mains electricity and contain refrigerant under pressure. Unplug a refrigerator before removing any panel, and stop and call a qualified technician if a repair involves the sealed refrigerant system or the compressor: in the United States, working on refrigerant requires EPA Section 608 certification. We are not responsible for injury, damage or loss resulting from a repair you carry out based on this site.
No warranty
We try to keep pages accurate, but we provide them as they are, without any warranty that they are complete, current or suitable for your situation.
